What are the Team Territory Wars?

The Team Territory Wars (TTW for short) is going to be an ongoing team event in which teams will compete to gain ownership over the games 32 tracks. The purpose of this event is the try and own as many tracks as possible and to successfully defend them.

Defending & Challenging for Tracks

❖ When challenging another team, you may either send them a PM on this website, or contact them via skype to issue a challenge. For teams who occupy more than one track, be specific with what track you'd like to challenge for.

❖ Teams who are challenged have up to 3 days to accept from when the challenge was issued. Once the challenge is accepted, both teams have up to 7 days to complete the match. Failure to do so will result in both teams being disqualified and losing respective rights over the track in battle for custody.

❖ Each territory war will consist of 2 full GPs.

❖ All 4 players MUST choose the one track that is being defended/challenged. Twenty (20) points will be deducted from the final score of any team who chooses the wrong track. (-20 EACH time the wrong track is picked, even if random is chosen. So players be PREPARED to vote when the voting screen appears.)

❖ Each team MUST wear their respective tags while competing in the TTW. Anyone who does not comply will cost their team ten (10) points for EACH GP the player does not wear their proper tag.

Claiming Unowned Tracks

To claim a track that is not owned by any team at the present time, go to the track's thread and make a claim post. A claim post can be as simple as "[Team name] is claiming this track" or anything of that nature. Just please make sure you make it clear that you are making an official claim on the track. Avoid wording claims in a misleading or vague manner such as "We'll take it" or "We'll own this." Such wording just looks like mere confidence and not actual claims. So please keep that in mind.

Once a claim has been made on a track, that claim will be open for 2 days. That means in this 3 day time, any other team may challenge this claim. If a team does challenge a claim that has been made, the challenge will be played out between the two teams as a normal challenge would (click here to see the rules on challenges) and the victor of the match will gain possession of that track (whether or not the 3 days have ended). If a claim is not challenged within the 3 days time, the team who made the claim will then gain possession of that track.
Of course, other teams may challenge the track's owner normally after that.

Note: Teams may only claim 1 track at a time. Once a team gains possession of said track, they may put in a claim for a new one, and so forth.

Match Rules & Technicalities

❖ No glitching (See below) or hacking allowed. (-40) for glitching and suspension from the tournament for hacking. (But you wouldn't do that, will ya?)

❖ Disconnections in races 1-3 in any GP will prompt the room host to restart the GP. Disconnections in race 4, the player who disconnects will just keep the points earned in the first three races.

❖ Someone from each race or team will be responsible for taking pics/or catching video of the races and posting it on your team thread.

❖ Each team will have a team thread, and the owner of the thread will keep their team info updated with tracks they own, times defended and challenged.

❖ This is to always be fun. No raging, arguments, etc.

NO TROLLING, WHATSOEVER
