General Rules & Regulations For RDS

General Rules & Regulations

❂ Tracks are to be picked in ORDER from first to last on the first day. Please don't make it harder than it should be.

❂ No Trolling and/or No Glitching

❂ If a player DC's in the very first race of a GP, then the GP will be restarted...regardless of who placed 1st in that particular race. The player who placed first in the race prior to restarting will KEEP their 1st place honor for that particular track. However the GP will still be restarted for said player that disconnected.

❂ If a player DC's from a race and the screen shows them that they placed 1st, it is invalid. That will not count. So don't try it.

❂ In rare occasions, a player may cross the finish line of a race and then disconnect. (The rule is subject to change) If a player crosses the finish line in 1st (indisputably) and it is documented by the members in the room, they will still be awarded the 1st place for that particular track as they earned it. Whomever places 1st of the players STILL in the room, will also gain 1st place for the track. (Only on races 2, 3, 4)

❂ Points are a Non-Factor. Keep that in mind. 2nd place and below are irrelevant.

❂ If a player fills up their card, it is their responsibility to report it to claim victory. If by any chance, more than one person attempts to claim victory in this event at the same time...both players will have 3 tracks deducted from their score card at random. Two people cannot cross the finish line in 1st place so there should never be two winners at the same time. (Only possible with a disconnection win.) - Rules on that varies.

❂ It is recommended but not required for members to create an account here to view and manage their hubs. AS LONG AS THEY VISIT THE SITE TO KEEP TABS ON THEIR CHARTS/CARDS, everyone will be fine.

Penalties

Trolling: Position DQ (ineligible to claim 1st) on that particular track one was caught trolling on & a one track deduction from their chart by another player chosen at random. So be aware.

Glitching/Using Banned Shortcuts: Position DQ (ineligible to claim 1st).

Hacking:  Ineligible to claim 1st on any track played until the conclusion of the session. (Not the event, just the session of that particular day.) This will also require clearance from Koops or myself to return.

Repicking A Track in the first 32: Ineligible to claim 1st on said track repicked (or if gotten 1st on the repicked track previously, it will be stripped) so BE AWARE.

Banned Glitches/Shortcuts

Revision: Okay, this event is basically something to measure just how good we can truly be. This is a test, a test to see if you can reach 1st place in any given track. With that said, any major time cutting tactic will be prohibited.

Wario's gold Mine: Pipe jump.

Mushroom Gorge: Any rock riding.

Coconut Mall: Parking lot.

GBA Bowser's Castle 3: Regular cut and ultra cut.

N64 DK Jungle Parkway: Loop jump.

Mario Circuit (Wii): Tree/Hill hop.

Grumble Volcano: Riding the rock AND the Respawn Glitch.

Bowser's Castle (Wii): Through the ceiling at the half-pipe.

Never Forget.
